I don’t approve.
I can’t believe you’re not on there, to be honest..

He grinned as Sebastian sang the words to the song; he hadn’t really pegged him as the kind to know the lyrics to a Katy Perry showstopper. But he wasn’t going to complain. He loved the song. He didn’t know, but there was always some sort of connection he had to the song. He felt that way about a lot of songs, it didn’t seem to bother him too much. The smile faltered when he heard a slight tremble in voice, but Blaine =He knew his turn was coming. He listened to the sweet and full voice of Blaine, closing his eyes just to hear his voice. Hear how he was singing, how this hadn’t any deep meaning to him. Quite ironic if you thought about it. Sebastian was the one who wanted Blaine for sex, and sex only, and now he was realizing that he had a crush on the boy before Vegas. He was of course thinking of Santana, he had made a promise that nothing stupid would happen between them, but the danger wasn’t coming from Blaine, it was coming from Sebastian himself.
In another life, I would make you stay.
So I don’t have to say you were the one that got away.
The one that got away.
He slowed down on the last verse, opening his eyes and looking in the wide nothing. Blaine was one of the few that had rejected him, that got away, but none of the others had had such an impact on him. He didn’t continue to sing along with him, he just stood up and took a short and deep breath before turning to Blaine and smile, that smile he always had plastered on his face to hide his troubles. “Well that was lovely, you didn’t lose your voice, they will squirm in happiness to have their master key to success in their pathetic glee club again” he looked at his watch. “I better be going, it’s getting late”
Blaine had been completely carefree with playing the guitar, until Sebastian got up. His shoulders drooped a little, feeling a mixture of confusion and owrry. He put the guitar to the side of his bed, sitting up straighter. “Thanks..” He mumbled, looking down at his feet. Something wasn’t right, he could tell. But he knew that Sebastian wouldn’t tell him, it wasn’t who he was to tell about his life. He shifted uncomfortably, feeling quite awkward than he had been a few minutes ago. Blaine frowned when Sebastian told him that he should leave, and as much as he would’ve wanted him to stay, he decided it would probably be for the best. “Okay..” Blaine nodded slowly, not sure if he should stand up and hug him goodbye. But he remained on the bed, his arms dropped down to his sides. “I.. I’ll see you later then.” He bit his lip, trying not to let his disappointment show too much.

“A proposal’s a proposal.” Cooper winked at his brother. He couldn’t stop smiling, thinking about how his little brother, 17, was getting married. It was ridicoulus! But he didn’t complain, as long as it made Blaine happy. “Oh, my love life isn’t much to talk about.” he laughed, while fingering with his own Pepsi. “There are some.. girls.. a little on and off.. nothing much.. dates and.. a little crazy..” he mumbled, this time not daring to meet Blaine’s eyes. Wow, he was close to thirty and he didn’t even have a real girlfriend yet. “It’s cool though.” he sighed. “Gives me time for everything else. I was hoping maybe I’d find someone here in Lima, so…” He took a long sip from his soda can, staring out in the big hotel room. It was really stupid, him staying alone in this huge room with a king size bed and everything. “Blaine, tell me this..” he said, looking down at his feet. “Do you.. think I’m wretched?” He looked back up to his little brother, meeting his eyes.
Blaine was relieved that Cooper hadn’t made too much of a fuss about the whole proposal. “Yeah, I guess so.” He shrugged, laughing at the wink he had received. His brow slightly furrowed when Cooper said that his love life wasn’t very much. “Well, at least you haven’t sprung a surprise nephew or niece on me. I’m too young to be an uncle, I think.” He joked, trying to liven the mood that had taken a small turn to being a little more serious. “Of course you’ll find someone. Hell, if I found someone, you will too. You’re on television, remember? Any woman would love the chance to meet an actor.” Blaine leaned over to nudge his arm, before taking another gulp of his Pepsi. He nearly choked on his drink when Cooper had asked him a question from nowhere. “You? Wretched?” He repeated, surprised by the question. “No, not at all.” Even if he wasn’t too sure if Cooper’s situation, he didn’t seem too upset or anything. Just a little lonely, but it was only natural to feel that way. It looked like he stayed here by himself, and he was off in California.

“It’s fine with me” Sebastian answered and crossed his legs. He watched Blaine ‘s finger move easily on the guitar. He wasn’t going to admit that a few Katy Perry songs were on his I-pod, but that girl had talent and some of her songs were actually good. And Blaine was the reason he started to listen to that music. One was not friend with Blaine Anderson without knowing the top 40 music charts. He recognized the song and licked his lips.
Used to steal your parent’s liquor and climb to the roof
Talk about our future like we had a clue
Never planned that one day I’d be losing you
He sang the second stanza without really looking at Blaine. This was getting personal and he was sure he had fail in hide a light tremble in his voice when he sang the last verse. He swallowed, knowing that the Chorus would be up next. He took a deep breath, this would be the first time they’ll sing something together and while he wasn’t sure why Blaine had picked that song, he was deep down happy to be able to share that moment with him.
The smile faltered when he heard a slight tremble in voice, but Blaine continued strumming the guitar, giving a soft smile towards Sebastian’s way. He moved his fingers to suit the chord of the chorus, closing his eye as he sang the lines.
In another life, I would be your guy.
We’d keep all our promises, be us against the world.
In another life, I would make you stay.
So I don’t have to say you were the one that got away.
The one that got away.
He finished the half of the chorus, looking back up at Sebastian, who seemed as if he was avoiding him. Blaine frowned a little, wondering why he was being so weird about the song. He was half-expecting Sebastian to just end the song completely soon enough.

What happened that you lost him?
Just some messaging. I thought he was a friend of mine, but now I’m.. I’m just really worried about him..

[PM] But you fell out of me, because of me ….and it will happen with Santana too, it always happens … people end up hating me because I can’t handle their affection. I can’t talk to her, I can’t tell her I’m weak and I’m thinking about you … drinking makes me forget who I am….
[PM] It wasn’t because of you. I just realised that I was in love with Kurt, but that’s.. that’s not the point. You have to have more faith in yourself, Sebastian. You’re perfect the way you are, why would you want to forget that?
